The 9th edition of SIM Senegal will take place at the Centre International de Conférences Abdou Diouf & the Centre des Expositions, Diamniadio in Dakar from 02 – 04 November 2027. The event will be organised by the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum and Mines, Senegal in association with AME Trade. This year’s edition will be held under the theme: Mineral Resources: a lever for economic sovereignty.
SIM Senegal is a bi-annual mining event. The event has established itself as one of the largest mining events in West Africa and is the only event supported by the Senegalese government dedicated to expanding the country’s mining sector. SIM 2027 will allow all participants to find out more about the policies and priorities of the new government elected in 2024, which include to use the mining sector as a “lever for progress, through exemplary governance of mining resources, focused on a win-win strategy, environmental preservation, and equitable redistribution of income.”
